City of Prelude is a para/semi-para literate (beginners to advanced are welcomed) post-apocalyptic RP. All ideas are original, more or less.
ONE HUNDRED YEARS AGO, it was 1939 - the start of WWII. In one universe, the dropping of the atomic bombs over Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the only atomic bombs dropped. However, this is not that universe. Here, the war stretched until 1992, leaving almost every country in shambles. Only 250,000 people worldwide survived the war. It is now 2039, and the population stays near 250,000.
SYSTEM AND TERRA, two rival gangs, now rule New York City - or what's left of it. They live among the ruins, fighting one another for resources and territory. In the middle, there are smaller gangs and rogues, but it's hard to live here and not become part of the political (and literal) battle, in this prelude. But whether it's a prelude to peace or anarchy is unknown...
